• 9:40 pm – Idaho Lottery Commission approves Mega Millions.  The Idaho State Lottery Commission announced Tuesday that Mega Millions could start selling tickets in Idaho early as Jan. 31, 2010.
• 9:20 am – Louisiana Lottery reports $7.6M in October lotto prizes.  Traveling to New Jersey for Thanksgiving, making upgrades to a recently purchased property and repairing a pick-up truck are just some of the ways winners of the Louisiana Lottery's scratch-off games plan to spend the more than $6 million claimed in October.
• 8:40 am – Pa. clerk stole $48K in lottery tickets.  A woman faces a preliminary hearing on charges she stole $48,000 worth of instant-win Pennsylvania lottery tickets from the convenience store where she worked.
• 7:40 am – Iowa joins multi-state Mega Millions lottery.  Iowa Lottery players will soon be able to make their first drawing for Mega Millions, a popular multistate game that paid a record $390 million jackpot two years ago.
• N.Y. Lottery looks to increase prizes through investment strategies.  The New York Lottery is proposing a gamble where the odds aren't always in its favor -- moving its $1.3 billion prize fund into investments such as stocks, corporate bonds, real estate and hedge funds and out of the safety of U.S. Treasuries.
